How the Creator Rewards estimate works
TikTok replaced its old flat-rate Creator Fund with the Creator Rewards Program, which pays for qualified views on original videos over one minute long. The rate is not published as a fixed figure, but creators commonly report somewhere between $0.02 and $0.04 per 1,000 qualified views — far higher than the old fund. The estimate here is qualified views × (rate ÷ 1,000). At two million qualified views and a $0.03 rate, that is about $60 a month from the program alone. Because you set the rate, you can model the range creators actually see.
What counts as a qualified view
Not every view earns. To qualify, videos must be longer than one minute, original, and meet TikTok's quality and community guidelines — reposts, duets built mostly on others' content, and very short clips are excluded. Watch time, search value and engagement all feed into how much a video earns, so two videos with the same view count can pay differently. This is why the rate is a range, not a constant: your effective rate depends on how much of your audience watches qualifying long-form content to completion.
Eligibility and other TikTok income
You must have at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days to join the Creator Rewards Program, and be 18 or older in an eligible country. Beyond it, most successful TikTok creators earn far more from brand deals, TikTok Shop affiliate commissions, LIVE gifts and driving fans to other platforms than from Rewards payouts. The program is best seen as a bonus on top of content that builds an audience you can monetise in bigger ways.
Why this is only an estimate
TikTok does not publish an exact per-view rate, and it changes with region, content performance and platform economics. The number here is a planning projection based on the rate you enter, not a guaranteed payout. Check your own TikTok Studio analytics for your actual effective rate and use that here for the closest figure. These tools use published benchmark rates and the figures you enter — every rate is an editable assumption. They are rough estimates for planning, not a guarantee: actual creator earnings vary widely with niche, audience, geography, season and platform payout changes.
Frequently asked questions
How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views?
Under the Creator Rewards Program, creators commonly report roughly $0.02–$0.04 per 1,000 qualified views on videos over one minute — much more than the old Creator Fund's fraction of a cent.
What are the requirements to earn on TikTok?
To join the Creator Rewards Program you generally need at least 10,000 followers, 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, be 18 or older, and post original videos longer than one minute in an eligible country.
Why do my TikTok earnings vary so much?
Payouts depend on qualified views, watch time, search value, audience region and engagement — not just raw views. Only original videos over a minute that meet guidelines qualify, so your effective rate shifts constantly.
Is this TikTok calculator accurate?
It is an estimate. TikTok does not publish a fixed rate, so the result depends entirely on the rate you enter. Use your own analytics for your real effective rate.
